境外人员办理住宿登记相关规定
What are the regulations for overseas personnel regardingaccommodation registration?
根据《中华人民共和国出境入境管理法》第三十九条:外国人在中国境内旅馆住宿的，旅馆应当按照旅馆业治安管理的有关规定为其办理住宿登记，并向所在地公安机关报送外国人住宿登记信息。
According to Article 39 of the "Exit and Entry Administration Lawof the People's Republic of china', foreign nationals staying inhotels in China must have their accommodation registered by thehotel in accordance with public security regulations. The hotel isrequired to submit the accommodation registration informationof foreign guests to the public security authorities in the locationwhere the hotel is situated.
外国人在旅馆以外的其他住所居住或者住宿的，应当在入住后二十四小时内由本人或者留宿人，向居住地的公安机关办理登记。
For foreigners who reside or stay in private residences rather thanhotels, they, or the individuals hosting them, must complete theregistration procedures with the local public security authoritieswithin 24 hours of the foreigners' arrival.同时，根据《中国公民因私往来香港地区或者澳门地区暂行管理办法》第十七条;
以及《中国公民往来台湾地区管理办法》第十六条港澳居民来内地、台湾居民来大陆应按照相关规定办理住宿登记。
Additionally, as per Article 17 of the "interim Administrative Reg.ulations for chinese citizens' Private Travel to Hong Kong andMacao Regions" and Article 16 of the "Administrative Regulationsfor Chinese Citizens' Travel to Taiwan Region,"" residents of HongKong, Macao, and Taiwan who travel to Chinese mainland are alsorequired to register their accommodation in accordance with rele.vant regulations.
